Regular Summer Classes with Miss Jennifer:

July 10th through August 10th, 2017

Pre-Ballet (3+): Tuesdays 3:30-4:15 p.m. Pre-Ballet class is designed for students ages 3 and up, and this class focuses on creative movement and basic ballet technique. This is a fun and creative class for young dancers, and students can wear any comfortable clothing that they can move in. The cost is $90 and there is a $35 registration fee.

Elementary Ballet & Tap (5+): Mondays 3:30-4:30 p.m. Ballet & Tap classes are designed for students ages 5 and up, with a focus on ballet technique, including stretching and barre work. The dress code for Elementary Ballet & Tap is a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers/ black tap shoes, with hair in a bun. The cost is $110 and there is a $35 registration fee.

Intermediate I Ballet & Jazz (7+): Wednesdays 3:30-5:00 p.m. Intermediate Ballet & Jazz classes are designed for students age 7 and up. This class features one hour of ballet technique combined with 30 minutes of jazz, and it’s a fun & challenging class for this age group. The dress code for Intermediate level students is a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, with hair in a bun. The cost is $125 and there is a $35 registration fee.

Intermediate II Ballet & Jazz (8+ must have completed Int I): Wednesdays 5:00-6:30 p.m. Intermediate Ballet & Jazz classes are designed for students age 7 and up. This class features one hour of ballet technique combined with 30 minutes of jazz, and it’s a fun & challenging class for this age group. The dress code for Intermediate level students is a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, with hair in a bun. The cost is $125 and there is a $35 registration fee.

Pre-Professional/Advanced Ballet with Miss Jennifer (Level 1 and up): Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays 4:30-6:30 p.m. Pre-Professional level class is a 2-hour ballet technique class for experienced dance students. The dress code for this class is black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers and pointe shoes (if applicable), hair in a bun. The cost is $400 and there is a $35 registration fee.

DcD’s Early Summer Supplemental with Miss Cori (Level II +):

June 5-8th, 2017

This option is conveniently scheduled the week before our Triple Bill Performance and is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen and prepare for the performances on June 10th. Whether or not you are participating in the Triple Bill, this option is an ideal way to elevate your dancing through a rigorous 4 day intensive focused on refining technique. Classes will also focus on the execution of movements as well as artistry. Combinations will be designed to work on extensions, pirouettes, petite and grand allegro. Pointe work will include class work and variations. This is also a great way to prepare yourself for the challenging out of state summer programs you may be considering!

Tuition/Registration

DcD’s Mid-Summer Intensives with Miss Jennifer and Miss Cori (Level III+):

July 17th-21st, 2017 AND July 24th-28th

This is a one or two-week rigorous intensive designed to match the intensity of some of the out-of-state intensives that some of our dancers are attending. This Intensive Program is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM with a 30 minute break for lunch.

Schedule:

9:00-11:30 a.m. Ballet Technique, Pointe and Variations
11:30-12:00 p.m. Lunch Break
12:00-3:00 p.m. Modern, 15-minute break, Jazz/Stretch & Strengthen, Nutrition for dancers

Tuition/Registration
$600 per week paid in advance. Space will be limited!

DcD’s Late Summer Supplemental with Miss Cori (Level II +):

August 14-17th, 2017

This option is conveniently scheduled the week before our Nutcracker Auditions and is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen and prepare for the audition on August 27th. Whether or not you are participating in the Nutcracker, this option is an ideal way to elevate your dancing through a rigorous 4-day intensive focused on refining technique. Classes will also focus on the execution of movements as well as artistry. Combinations will be designed to work on extension, pirouettes, petite and grand allegro. Pointe work will include class work and variations.
