Children's Nutcracker 2025
The "Children's Nutcracker" performances will be held at Lakewood Cultural Center over Thanksgiving weekend, November 28th-30th, 2025. Nutcracker registration opens August 4th for currently enrolled students.
At DcD, we encourage all of our students (Pre-Ballet and up) to participate in our 2 annual performances, The Children’s Nutcracker and the June "Triple Bill" featuring ballet, jazz & modern choreography.
There are 2 levels of participation in DcD performances. Pre-Ballet, Elementary & Intermediate level students the cost to participate is $200, which includes costume & theater rental, rehearsal time and a cast t-shirt. Students in Levels 1-5 can join the Student Company, the cost is $400 and includes costume & theater rental, rehearsal time, a cast t-shirt and headshot & bio listed in the performance program.
All Company dancers must have near-perfect attendance in regular classes and can only miss 2 rehearsals per performance season.
