2024 summer Dance
Pre-Ballet class is designed for students ages 3 and up, and this class focuses on creative movement and basic ballet technique. This is a fun and creative class for young dancers, and students can wear any comfortable clothing that they can move in. The cost is $75 and there is a $35 registration fee.
Ballet & Tap classes are designed for students ages 5 and up, with a focus on ballet technique, including stretching and barre work. The dress code for Elementary Ballet & Tap is a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers/ black tap shoes, with hair in a bun. The cost is $85 and there is a $35 registration fee.
Intermediate Ballet & Jazz classes are designed for students age 7 and up. This class features one hour of ballet technique combined with 30 minutes of jazz, and it’s a fun & challenging class for this age group. The dress code for Intermediate level students is a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, with hair in a bun. The cost is $100 and there is a $35 registration fee.
Pre-Professional Ballet is designed for Level 1 and up. The dress code for Pre-Professional is black leotard, pink tights with hair in a bun. The cost is $150 per week and there is a $35 registration fee.
Pre-Professional classes are wonderful opportunity for students in Level 2 and up to strengthen and keep up their ballet training over the summer. Classes are ballet and pointe (pre-pointe) and focus on refining technique. Students can register for individual weeks to accomodate vacations, summer camps etc. Combinations will be designed to work on extension, pirouettes, petite and grand allegro.
Students can register for Pre-Professional classes (Level 2 & up) one week at a time.
The late Summer Supplemental is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen and prepare for the beginning of Fall Classes. Whether or not you are participating in the Nutcracker, this option is an ideal way to elevate your dancing through a rigorous 3-day intensive focused on refining technique. Classes will also focus on the execution of movements as well as artistry. Combinations will be designed to work on extension, pirouettes, petite and grand allegro. Pointe work will include class work and variations.

Level 3, 4 and Advanced dancers, so we are offering the following additional classes in August.

DcD was founded in 2000 by Artistic Director Jennifer Micek with the goal of creating a studio that values family, education, creativity and a lifelong passion for dance and the arts. DcD discourages competition as a part of Dance training while promoting a fun and caring environment for all of it's dancers.
