Age 3+
Pre-Ballet
Pre-Ballet class is designed for students age 3 and up & this fun class focuses on creative movement and basic ballet technique.
Students can wear any comfortable clothing that they can move easily in. Fall Classes Begin September 8th!

Age 5+
Elementary Ballet
Elementary Ballet classes are designed for students age 5 and up, with a focus on ballet technique, including stretching and barre work.
Class Times
Mondays 4:00–5:00 p.m.
Wednesdays 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Saturdays 9:45–10:45 a.m. (includes Tap)
Fall Classes Begin September 8th!

Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers/black tap shoes, hair in a bun

Age 7+
Intermediate Ballet and Jazz
Intermediate Ballet & Jazz classes are designed for students age 7 and up. This class features one hour of ballet technique combined with 30 minutes of jazz, this is a fun & challenging class for 7–9 year olds who want one class/week.

Mondays 4:30–6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays 5:30–7:00 p.m.
Fridays 4:00–5:30 p.m.

Age 9+
Level 1
Level 1 Ballet focuses on developing strength and flexibility at the barre and in the center. Pre-Pointe class is included on Tuesdays to develop foot and core strength for pointe shoes in Level 2.
This class is designed for students ages 9 and up and meets twice a week, including pre-pointe. Ballet training gets more serious at DCD in Level 1. Students should arrive at class early, expect to receive corrections in class, and should be able to apply corrections from the teacher quickly. Students are expected to have near-perfect attendance in classes.

Black leotard (any style), pink convertible ballet tights, pink split-sole canvas ballet slippers, hair in a neat bun

Age 11+
Level 2
Level 2 Ballet & Pointe is an hour and a half, twice/week ballet class with increased barre & center work and includes a pointe class.

Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00–6:30 p.m. (Ballet)
Wednesdays 6:30–7:30 p.m. (Pointe)
Level 2 is designed for students who have completed Level 1 Ballet & Pre-Pointe. Ballet training gets more serious at DCD in Level 2. Students should expect to receive corrections in class, and they should be able to apply corrections from the teacher quickly. Students are expected to have near-perfect attendance in classes.

Age 12+
Level 3
Level 3 includes ballet, pointe and modern (Horton technique) with ballet class twice/week and modern class on Tuesdays. All are included in Level 3 tuition.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00–6:30 p.m. (Ballet)
Tuesdays 6:30–8:00 p.m. (Modern/Horton)
Thursdays 6:45–7:30 p.m. (Pointe)

Level 4
Level 4 Ballet & Pointe is designed for students who have completed Level 3 Ballet. There are 3 classes/week, which focus on correct placement, stretching and strengthening.

Level 5
Level 5 classes are designed for students who have completed Level 1, 2, and 3 and Pointe. Advanced level classes focus on building strong ballet, modern and pointe technique in a professional and nurturing atmosphere.

Enrollment Information
Sign-Up Fee
To register at DCD we require a non-refundable $35 sign-up fee per family, per year. Once registered, your tuition will be charged to your card on the 3rd of the month from September–June.
Cancellation Policy
30-day cancellation notice required. Please contact us if you need to withdraw from a class.
