Studio Calendar
Our year runs from the start of fall classes in September through our spring and summer Triple Bill. Below you'll find the important dates and performances that shape the DcD season, from the Children's Nutcracker over Thanksgiving weekend to our June showcase.

Fall Term
The season begins in September and builds toward our holiday performance.
August 1
Fall Registration Opens
Enroll online to reserve your dancer’s place for the new season.
September 8
Fall Classes Begin
First day of classes for all levels, Pre-Ballet through Level 5.
August–October
Children’s Nutcracker Rehearsals Begin
Company and level rehearsals build across the fall on Saturdays at DcD.
Winter Term
Our beloved Children’s Nutcracker takes the stage before the holiday break.
Thanksgiving Weekend
The Children’s Nutcracker
Annual performance at the Lakewood Cultural Center, for dancers ages 3 and up.
December 23 – January 6
Holiday Studio Closure
The studio is closed for winter break. Classes resume in January.
Spring & Summer Term
Spring rehearsals lead into our June Triple Bill celebration of ballet, jazz & modern.
March 14
Triple Bill Company Rehearsals Begin
Company A (Level 5) rehearsals start, with additional companies joining in April.
June 6
Studio Dress Rehearsal
Cast A and Cast B dress rehearsals at DcD ahead of the performance.

Triple Bill Performance
Our end-of-season showcase featuring ballet, jazz & modern choreography.
